In honor of the Thadingyut Festival of Lights, YA International School celebrated with a meaningful “Thadingyut Hsaya Gadaw Pwe” on October 3.🌸​

Students from all grade levels gathered to give their teachers flowers and other presents as a way of honoring and thanking them for their endless care and support.💐​

Our principals also participated in this unique occasion, offering heartfelt words that reminded everyone of the value of appreciation, deference, and the close bond between educators and learners.💛​

It was a lovely celebration of gratitude and respect, a custom that is still very much alive and well in the YA community.✨🙏​
